KAH TAI LAGOONBehind McDonald's on the way into town next to the Park and Ride. 85 acres of wet lands, lagoon and nature preserve. Fun to walk to the end to visit the Food Co-op.
SKATEBOARD PARKOn Monroe between Washington and Jefferson Streets. Recently completed state-of-the-art experience in concrete. Skateboard Park is free to the public.
NORTH BEACH PARKAt the end of Kuhn Street next to Chinese Gardens and north entrance to Fort Worden.A dog meet-up and kid-friendly picnic spot. County park. Easy beach access. Depending on the tide, walk the beach along the north boundary to Fort Worden to light house on Wilson Point. About a mile. Loop thru the fort to get back to car. 2-3 more miles depending on route. Route up Butt Hill from the beach campground to top is about 1/3 mile.

FORT TOWNSEND
Old Fort Townsend Rd
2 miles south of Port Townsend off of SR 20 (.5 mile toward water) Washington State Park with some playground equipment and lots of hiking trails. Picnic spots, lots of fields for running around. Walk down to the water.
